Game similar to little big planet for ps3

Okay I used to play this game pretty sure it was on ps3. I remember creating characters, making a small town and like doing tasks. The characters looked kinda similar to little big planet. Sorry this sounds confusing because I am confused. I’ve been trying to think of this game for months... someone help

Don't know the game but when I try to remember something, I always get them in the end by mentally going through the alphabet whilst picturing the search.

I really wracked my brain but all I can think is LittleBigPlanet 3.

It’s not little big planet 3... I looked up the game and it doesn’t look familiar. In this game I’m talking about I feel like you build small towns and the characters weren’t exactly like little big planet they were just not human like if that makes any sense at all

1 - I remember creating characters,
2 - making a small town
3 - and like doing tasks.
4 - The characters looked kinda similar to little big planet.
The only game for PS 3 that I can think of, and which (very loosely) resembles LBP, would be "Dragon Quest Builders".

Some caveats, however:
1 - this fits not 100%: If I remember it correctly, you don't create characters - there's only one starting character, of which you can choose the gender.
2 - this fits: you definitely build villages, settlements, etc.
3 - this fits also: you definitely have to fulfill tasks
4 - well, the characters in DQB definitely don't look like their made out of yarn, so...

That's meeting two (maybe even two and a half?) out of four requirements. Maybe have a look at it?
