Yeah, but the devs also have to accept that they're also beholden to steam and stuck with steam just as much as their customers. You think that'd be worth something, especially when not all those features are being used. Especially with this talk of steam possibly kicking games off (a very specific niche, i know, but it should still be a factor) as well as devs feeling unable to get going on steam due to the pure level of saturation of steam's market, you'd think these devs would understand the need to be able to be independent of steam.

Speaking of votes, I created a feature wishlist today asking GOG to warn us of missing or disabled features. It's starting to get some traction. Feel free to add your +1 if you want.

The truth about all this is that it's unrealistic. Not only would GOG get into so much trouble, but GOG can't afford to devote personnel to the task. On the flip side, I wonder if we could go directly for the companies themselves via the tort route, and get an injunction on the companies to "reasonably support equally on all platforms." Would cover humble and others to take the heat off GOG, too.

I think they'll just ignore any message we send them, it's always been like that.

.Bach: I think they'll just ignore any message we send them, it's always been like that.
Kinda hard to ignore a lawyer. If you've been handed a summons and fail to show, you get sued ex parte automatically in most countries, IIRC. But, i'm really not sure if there's legal ground.
