Since installing Catalina I have had the same issue as everyone else with 32 bit retro programs not working, I was thinking of downloading the Windows versions and running them in ScummVM, thoughts??
Also, are there plans for older games to be updated with newer launchers?
If you're referring to DOS games, yes, they've already done that for most (all?) DOS games. Other than that, no, you'd need to run the Windows version using Crossover, which has support for 32-bit apps on Catalina.
a good percentage of my games died as a result of Catalina, I'll do as you suggest and await updates on some of the newer games that were not Dos based...
Thanks

I didn't suggest that since there won't be any updates to non-DOS games. What I would suggest is re-installing Mojave if you have any significant number of 32-bit games. The only other option is to play the Windows versions using Crossover like I mentioned, assuming that they work of course (though Wine is pretty compatible these days).

I did get what you meant Eric and it is appreciated, I might even try Mojave with parallels so it restores 32 bit compatibility....
Thanks again :-)
