Hi everybody! This will be a question regarding games, but not PC games this time :)

I would be mega-grateful for hints regarding "first purchase" - I'm thinking about buying for the first time some tabletop miniature game - set for 2 players (preferably in sci-fi theme).

I'm looking for something that is not requiring a lot of time to play or prepare game (usually playing in board games with my sibling and they're not keen on long games). With easy to learn rules. And optimally, to have everything necessary for playing in the bought set (not costing a fortune).

I was recently making some research and was thinking between WH40k: Kill Team Starter Set Recruit edition (the one with Orks and Guardsmen) and Masters of the Universe Battleground Starter Set.
Would you recommend one of those (or maybe something different?). Many thanks for hints

MartiusR: Choosing first tabletop miniature game (set for 2 players)

I'm thinking about buying for the first time some tabletop miniature game - set for 2 players (preferably in sci-fi theme).

Many thanks for hints
- Space Hulk (2 player/ probably expensive)
- Dust Tactics (2-4 players/ alternative WWII scenario with alien tech)
- Earth Reborn (2-4 players/ post-apocalyptic)
- Battle Tech (2 players/ well,...Mechs, what more to say?)
- Star Wars: Imperial Assault (2-5 players/ Star Wars.../ might be expensive)
- Space Cadets. Away Missions (1-6 players)
Thanks for the proposition - it seems though that some of those games are discontinued/not sold anymore (not counting some single offers on auction websites). I admit that I was thinking (in first order) about stuff which can be bought in current offer of stores selling this kind of stuff.
If I can, I do recommend a map of tabletop games shops, two backpacks with lunch, a ready-to-go sibling, and a "Quest for a New Adventure".
You might end up ordering something from the internet anyway but the adventure will start before having a chosen game.
