Is GoG no longer making the effort to track down the license holders of classic games and resurrecting them for WIN 10 operating systems for us to enjoy again?
There are soooooooooooo many awesome classic games out there.
I don't see any classic games on the upcoming list.
GoG should have a team dedicated to this goal.

They still are but these things can take time, a long time and alot of the easy to get games are now on the store.
Recently Bloodwych was released as well as Heretic I and Hexen I and II minus the expansion for Hexen II and Heretic II but once again legalities hide behind that.

The upcoming tab was never used for classic game releases so you are wasting your time using that.

Actually there's very likely ALWAYS something being worked on behind the scenes, be it getting things to run properly/at all or tracking down the current rights holder(s), for example.
The thing is - this takes time. And in certain cases, a lot of it.

So, all it really takes on our side is exercising this thing called patience.
And, of course keep on voting, so that GoG has an idea what people would like to see (re-)released the most and as soon as possible.

It is said that Phantasie series coulld be here in a future. If it is real It could be some of the most retro ancient games available in GOG, akalabeth aside :X

Yeah, classics are never on upcoming. And they just released Moonstone.
