Hi there,

I have a serious issue with cloud syncing as it take up to 10-15 minutes while sucking all my bandwidth to the point I can't even browse the internet without the feeling of a dial-up connection from the 90s' (700 ms ping on Overwatch while syncing, my flatmate is not happy).

So far, I encountered this problem with The Witcher 3 and D:OS 2 on two different PC and two different account.

Is this a common issue? Is there any solution?

Thanks.

Not much you can do about it, you can lessen the amount of saves you keep for each game so it doesn't take so long to finish.

I have the same issue with my internet connection (32 kbps max upload) so I just disable cloud for 99% of my games.

An option in Galaxy to set the max upload speed for syncing would be a good fix too, but i'm not sure if we'll see that.
I also think I read that Galaxy syncs ALL savegames every time, and not only the new ones, so it even wastes bandwidth for nothing.
Hi,

I have a Killer Network card and they have a control center to set limits on applications regarding bandwidth.
did you guys find a better solution?

Cloud syncing has pretty m,uch improved in newer Galaxy versions so you might just give it another try. I did not have any problems with cloud saves lately.

It just takes a lot of time to sync, I am seeing this with Witcher 3 saves sync (3.4 MB each). With my 2Mbps upload speed, saves sync is taking much more time than it should.

Not to downplay your issue but I've been playing The Witcher 3 for the past week with cloud saves enabled and for me it doesn't even take 10 seconds. Maybe there is something else that could be causing this issue for you? Unless you
already looked into other things that might be causing this.
