Does the Community Wishlist voting really work? I have seen no evidence that it does. Just wondering if I should continue with making wishes. Please tell me your experiences. Thank you.
RIP me. :'(

Just please make sure the wishes you create don't already exist, ie you aren't creating duplicates.

I second this. There's a search and it works.
Being able to point to a wishlist entry with a decent amount of votes could potentially be an infinitesimally small bargaining chip when GOG tries to negotiate something with a publisher/developer.

Other than that? Not really.
I think it can really help GOG show a potential publisher during negotiations that there is a demand for a game. Or perhaps make it easier for a new indie dev to convince GOG to release their game here. However, unlike it was unexplainably widely believed in the past, it is clear that there is no a certain threshold that makes a game automatically appear on GOG.

fwiw I know it helped get Harvester, Betrayer, Heroine's Quest, Starship Titanic, and at least a few others onto the store. :P

I believe it helped encourage GOG to allow SKALD onto the store, and plays a role in GOG deciding what older games to prioritize from a publisher, such as the last bunch they ended up getting from Activision (most were fairly high on the Community Wishlist).

"Matt Chat 504: Oleg and Artem of SNEG

"SNEG is bringing back some of the best CRPGs and strategy games of all time to GOG and other distribution platforms. Gold box, Black box, silver box and more! Oleg and Artem are super fans of the games they're publishing and have ambitious plans to bring back even more games from the golden age!"

Should be not too out of place here, with both Oleg Klapovskiy and Artem Shchuiko being former staffers of GoG's business development department.

One thing Oleg Klapovskiy said stood out:
"Plus again, I think the best tool for people who want some old games to be back is actually to go to GoG.com, and vote on the fantastic wishlist because, trust me, it's being used by the GoG business development team and not only by them.""
Yeah I would love to see more prioritization of community requests for the site.

Has there ever been a feature that has actually been implemented thanks to the community wishlist?

If we knew, we'd know. GOG's about as communicative as an insular lighthouse keeper.
