At least they are making it appear as such on their website.

PS1 game/PCSXR emulated "Monster Bass!" (with it's incorrect cover picture) is displaying a large "GOG.COM Buy it Here:" logo, complete with no working link - as it's not actually on GOG right now for sale.

Recently, Console Classics has had 3 of it's titles pulled from Steam, presumably over distribution rights issues.

they've probably put the gog logo and 'link' up prematurely thinking that gog would automatically take it. Not sure why the steam one is still there though.
It hasn't been released yet on Steam either afaik. It's not one of their tiles that had been released on there yet. Of the few that were and had been pulled, those games had native PC releases, and emulated or not, selling them playable on PC crossed some legal line I think that infringed on the publishing on PC rights of other IP/Llicense holders.

As for "Monster Bass!", it should be in the clear as far as I can tell. Their website is pretty janky though, and they even still list games being sold on Steam that had been pulled. Who knows the meaning behind "BUY ON GOG" badge.
They haven't tweeted in a while, I assume they ran into some legal issues. EDIT: like BrandeX already said above :P

I'm not sure about this... Namely a bass fishing game doesn't seem like something that would heavily get people attentions.

Honestly i'd rather see hardware put on a PCI card that you could plug in and then just play your games without using full software emulation.
Even if old PS1 games were re-released on PC, somehow I feel they wouldn't be the titles I'd be interested in. I'd want games that are pretty far from what is/was available for PC, like Xenogears, Vagrant Story etc.

That is quite a good idea, I would buy that.

As for OP, well, attempts to get emulated games on the market are fraught with problems, licensing not only of the game, but bios, music, any sponsorship that may have been in the original etc. On the flip side, why bother. Emulation is quite advanced and generally free anyways, and then you have access to the full library that you own.
This thread is seemingly hyperbole. News! that isn't news.

Yeah same here, my interest in PS1 games is limited to racing games like McRae, F1 and such...which I doubt would make is way here anyway and are not PS1 exclusives in the first place. The only actual exclusive I'd be interested in would be Gran Turismo 2...but fat chance getting that on anything that's not a PS.

I guess there could be a market for some of the mainstream games though. So the idea is probably viable.
