my fond memory from 2020? I guess, there're two o'em.
one, Persona series finally started coming to PCs. I even considered getting myself a console.
two, a certain nice persone gifted me Street Fighter's anniversary collection and I've finally touched this legend. yeah, I'm a slowpoke.
from childhood? hmmm... let's say, it was beating Sonic 3 in one sit when I was a schooler.

now - to prediction, right? can't decide. Guilty Gear Strive? I predict, we'll be disappointed a little but still play it. or, there come more Persona and NieR games, yay!

as for prize, I'd go with Titanic... wait. no! let's put it this way: if nobody asks for it 'til the end of your giveaway, then I'm in for it, okay?
or no, random?
...
guess, I'm not in.

I remember playing some fighting games like that in arcades long ago...fun times.

Sorry, was offline for a bit...back now.

An entrant can enter for either category(a game from the list or the random draw) or even BOTH. So, knowing that, what'll it be for ye? :)

Btw to all: Back again to take new entries.

The deadline for that part of the contest(games list) is actually when every game is grabbed....so there's no set end date/time....but if not all games are grabbed by a certain time, then the rest might get sent off elsewhere.

As such, if no one claims Titanic by the deadline of the random draw, I will send it your way....sound good? :)
I've seen references to Gothic popping up in reviews of games I've looked at pretty constantly since I first joined gog, but never played any game from that series. Assuming the story of Gothic II is enjoyable in its own right, I'd like to be in for that. (Not in for the random draw - I suspect someone else will make better use of that than me.)

Thank you for your generosity!

My fondest gaming memory from 2020 is first discovering in Rise of Ruins that I could just pick up Fire Elementals (by accident! I was aiming for a dropped sword next to it) ...and toss them in the sea, which would extinguish them! Just punishment for them taking down sooooo many of my towers.

Sometimes it's very rewarding to be a god.

Oops, and I forgot my prediction for 2021.
Hmm... Cyberpunk will receive a lot of updates over the next few months, including one free major content patch that'll flesh out something which players are complaining about right now. By summer, Cyberpunk will be universally raved about.

yep, count me in.
Thank you for the giveaway while bringing in nostalgia and future predictions as well.

I'm in for Desperados: Wanted Dead or Alive, which is on my wishlist.

My fond gaming memory for 2020 would be Operations Flashpoint (called ARMA: Cold War Assault) returning to GOG and being added to my collection. Loved playing it together with my friends many years ago.

For 2021, I am predicting a better year for GOG (compared to all the trouble in late 2020) but still no return of GOG downloader.

Thanks again!
First and foremost, thank you very much for this giveaway. You are very generous.

I'd like to enter for Shadow Man since I've eyeing it for some time and always heard it's considered a classic game. I'm also in for the random draw.

My fond gaming memory of 2020 is playing Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory for the first time and be awed by how awesome it is, even by today standards. The game really holds up and jumped right into my top stealth games of all time.

My fond gaming memory of my childhood is when I got my Sega Mega Drive (Genesis) and fired up Streets of Rage for the first time. I couldn't even beat the first level, but I was impressed by the graphics, the music, the gameplay, everything. I know the second one is universally considered the better one, but the first Streets of Rage holds a place in my heart and is one of my favourite games of all time.

My prediction for 2021 is that we're gonna see more Sony first party games (mainly PS4 ones) come to PC like God of War, Bloodborne, The Last of Us, etc.

Thank you very much once again.
My fond gaming memory of my childhood is when I played Championship Manager for hours everyday. I was a poor kid and games cost a lot back then, but one time purchase of that game could last me years and I never get bored.

Prediction for 2021 and beyond, it will be rarer for a game get 90% discount.

I'm in for Desperados: Wanted Dead or Alive.

And I'm also in for the random draw, with an option to give the winning to someone else.

Reminds me of the "god" games(snes, ps2, etc) where you explore and rebuild stuff by finding pieces like people/buildings/etc....like the Dark Cloud series on ps2.

We will see, but I have a feeling at the very least people will learn to love it more over time(like with other rough buggy games that got better).

You DO know you could give the random draw(if won) to someone else(of your choosing), right? Knowing that, still out of the random draw? :)

Also check yer PM in a bit ;)

I have that one on console, I think....a nice game, iirc.

Well since GOG hit near rock bottom, they can only go up...right? Also, make sure to check yer PM in a bit. :)

(Btw since you didn't opt out I will assume you want to be in the random draw, so I am entering you for that as well...hope that's okay)

Nice giveaway! Please allow me to recommend to everybody Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, which is one of my fondest childhood gaming memories. ;)

For 2020 my memory is climbing and running throughout the rooftops of Damascus, Acre and Jerusalem in Assassin's Creed. I spent as much time sightseeing as doing the actual assassination missions. For most this is probably an old memory, but I didn't play this game until this year (during the hardest part of the confinement) and now I really wish the next installments were available DRM-free.

My prediction for 2021 is the classic Dune games being re-released at the time the new movie debuts.

In for the random draw.
