Andanzas: The Incal is a classic and is offered in its entirety. It was written in the 80s and is probably the most popular European comic from that decade. It is science fiction, but very different from American science fiction written at that time (it takes place in a very distant future, so it reads as fantasy at times). If you don't own The Incal and it sounds like something you might enjoy, this bundle is totally worth it. Perhaps Moebius best work.
The Metabarons is by the same writer who created The Incal and it tells the story of a lineage of perfect warriors who appeared for the first time in The Incal. The illustrator, Juan Gimenez, is considered one of the best artists from Argentina. Sadly, he passed away recently due to Covid-19.
I've also read
Muse, a erotic story which I found entertaining but not particularly memorable, and
The Legend of the Scarlet Blades, which I didn't enjoy but I can't tell you exactly why, because I don't remember. I do remember the art was amazing.
Metal Hurlant was a very popular magazine and these volumes offer a series of their best short stories. I've read the first one and I enjoyed it.
This bundle also features a couple books by Milo Manara which I haven't read, but Milo Manara is considered one of Europe's greats, and I also have read good things about
Carthago.
It seems all series are offered in their entirety, so it looks like a pretty good bundle to me, especially in you are interested in European science fiction!
Thanks for the information! Of course I know who Moebius is but I don't think I ever read something from him. But I did watch quite a few films from Jodorowsky, so I guess I can imagine their combined and probably very unique style a little bit. :-)
A very interesting bundle in any case.
