Dink smallwood is approaching its 20th anniversary and the game is still active as ever, to celebrate the same , the creator of the game seth decided to release dink smallwood hd free on ios and android where it was a paid app before with a ton of fixes . You can grab the updated windows version as well.

Major changes to dink hd now include

Dink Smallwood HD is Free for all platforms (including iOS and Android).
Better resolution support in Windows (I personally recommend running at 1280x960, double the original resolution).
Improved shadows support; the shadows can be upgraded to transparent shadows. This change occurs in the engine, and also applies to any graphics in existing D-Mods.
Integrated cheats menu.
In-game D-Mod browser / installer.


So for those who have played the game before can enjoy it on the devices.

I would love for this game to be here gog but not sure if gog would want a game like this , i have spoken to seth about releasing the game on other platforms , but hes not sure if gog / steam would want a free game.

List of Liquid's must play Dmods trust me some of these are longer and better than the main game, once you play these through you will be hunting for Dmods on your own to play.

Hint 1: if you have just finished dink smallwood main story , i recommend playing the Dmods in the order i list some of them increase the difficulty sharply.

1) Seth's first official dmod : Mystery Island My rating 9/10

The First dmod to experience right after beating the game, great mod with good puzzles and exploring and a nice story .

My god this was one of the mods that simply shocked the community some even consider it better than the main game , introduces so many new things to the game you have just play it .

A sweet dmod that focuses on a different story of the dink world great game play style and new enemies. warning though the difficulty and thinking require to get through increases sharply

I have mixed feelings on this one , it is claimed to be #1 among all the dmods ever made , the pinnacle of dmods but i have never been able to like it much , extreme difficulty, puzzles odd story that does not click with me.

These epic sized which means you wont be able to finish them in one game easily , if you want some short fun mods . here are some quest sized mods to try, all of them are short and awesome

Intersting! Never heard of this one before. Humorous and takes only 4 hours to complete? I'm going to start a playthrough right now. :)

Yeah dont forget about the dmods these are user made stories for dink smallwood, some of the dmods are much bigger than the dink , the new version of dink smallwood allows you download them in game and play.

Fun fact: Seth Robinson was the co-developer of "Growtopia" along with Mike Hommel of "Hamumu Software" (before Growtopia was sold to Ubisoft). The Hamumu Software forum was the first online community I was really a part of, before coming here to GOG.

Dink was part of my childhood.

But it took longer than 4 hours to finish the game, as I've spent a lot of time beheading goose and watching them running and splashing blood everywhere.

I also recommend Malachi The Jerk.

Also if you encounter any issues with mods, make sure to notify the creator and also use FreeDink (Available for Mac and Linux)

I've installed the freedink, but the font looks different than I remember. Letters look like they were scaled poorly, with no filtering (see attachment). Should it be like this way?

Seeing this makes me think the original Dink was using Microsoft fonts which I don't recall being free.
