Playing usually any game, some times have a dream about it and have even thought of ways to improve the game and then the next day *bugger* why didn't they make it with that in it.

I dream in Tetris all the time.
Have since I was a kid.
I tend to dream about puzzle games when I get stuck. I'll wake up in the middle of the night with a solution.
back when i was like 8 years old, i dreamed that i was playing super mario world on my shiny new super nintendo. i woke up to my nes with moldy old super mario bros 3. i was very sad.

Haha love it!
I dream of most things I get obsessed over, including games that grab my attention enough. Moderation has never been my thing.

What do you mean "dream"? I am the Dragonborn!!!

Maxvorstadt: What do you mean "dream"? I am the Dragonborn!!!
I'm Alex Gardner.

Let's see if anyone gets that. :P
A lot of my dreams start as games, but eventually morph into real life scenarios. Like I'll be playing a game and that room that was giving me trouble slowly becomes a room I am personally trying to get out of. I also get a few that do the opposite and start developing game rules or lack of consequences. So getting crushed may involve me or a companion suddenly clipping through said crushing object.
Yeah I mentioned here one or two years ago how, after playing lots of Grand Theft Auto 3 daily (my replay of the whole game/series), I saw a dream where I was a small-time punk doing errands for some kind of mobster, and it seems we became friends like he felt I am trustworthy ally or something.

The dream didn't feel "game-like", but I made the connection after I woke up, playing GTA3 so much made me see a dream based on the same idea.

Another funny tidbit, which I also realized only later, was that the mobster was one of sons of the TV show "Pawn Stars" which I occasionally watched on TV. This guy, Corey Harrison:

He made a believable mobster. Or, the hell I know what mobsters are like, I've only seen them in movies, but you get the idea... or do you?!?

...of course not.
But, how do we know what is really the game, and what is really the dream?
It happens sometimes, especially when I play RPGs or complicated puzzle games before going to bed. Sometimes I even dream pretty good solutions for situations in which I am stuck.
