If using a Debian-based OS like Raspbian, you could give a try to
./play.it, an open-source software generating Linux packages from GOG (and other) installers.
In most cases, it should take care of the required tweaks to avoid sound issues and such. Vanilla DOSBox is used by the way (your system-provided DOSBox to be exact), not a fork or some tweaked edition.
The two main drawbacks are:
- it supports a set list of games, so yours might not be supported yet (feel free to request support for new games)
- it is mostly untested on ARM setups, while it
should work there is no guarantee it will be without quirks
