I've seen this topic within a headline before but once I clicked it there wars no content.
What I find very disturbing is the miscalculation of the download speed if you are limiting it to given amount.
An example.
My max. download speed is 100Mbit/s which would be 12,5 MB/s. I usually achieve between 80-99% of this rate, depending on what and I'm downloading and how fast the server delivers.
If I'm going to limit the bandwith within GOG Galaxy to, let's say, 8 MB/s (which would be around 2/3 of the maximum) the real and shown rate drops down to just 2,6 MB/s (shown in GOG Galaxy). Even though I'm currently using GOG 1.2 again I've seen this issue also occuring within version 2.0 of the client.
What is wrong with this? Isn't anybody capable of doing some simple calculations?

8 MB/s is 8MB/s but not 2.6 MB/s. It looks like your calculation devides the given limit by 3. Can't tell why but it is simply wrong.
It would be really good to see this working as a user would expect it. I find it disturbing that some developers fail at a task which a normal pupil of an elementary school would succeed.
