Other than Zoom-platform, which already has games that GOG doesn't (like for example Aliens VS Predator Gold Edition).

Could somebody please nominate other DRM-Free vendors? They don't need to be big players like GOG here, the only thing i need is for them to offer titles and ranges of PC videogames, that are totally DRM-Free, without optional clients, locked content, third party accounts (like Paradox accounts for games like Tyranny) etc.

I am seriously considering to jump ship, because things are taking an ugly turn for the worse, slowly and steadily, over the last few years. I think i 've seen enough there is to it, here.

I dunno how current it is or how much they even sell on there anymore, but 3D Realms should be DRM-free. At the very least what I bought from them is absolutely DRM-Free (that was when they still had that big 3D-Realms Collection with Wolfenstein 3D and Shadow Warrior on it).

Slitherine/Atomic games also should be DRM-free.

Unfortunately, I checked back on 3D Realms and they sell very little these days, which is a real shame.

itch-io seems to have a descent number of DRM-free indie games, though be careful on what you buy unless they include a Steam key with the purchase since some developers may not update their games if it's on another platform (e.g. Steam). Case in point: Synthetik on itch-io has never gotten any of the new updates or even the Ultimate update that was recently released.

PLAYSIM, which is ran by Active Gaming Media, the same people that published Astebreed and La-Mulana, have some niche Japanese doujin games released overseas and some of their DRM-free games comes with a Steam key.

DLsite is digital doujinshi distributor that have some DRM-free doujin games from various circles but others may require some form authentication that makes sure you have a validly purchased game (or whatever) though I haven't bought a game that required an authentication (yet). It was originally Japan-only but it has become available to region some time ago, but be warned that some stuff published on DLsite, even outside of their Maniax/R18 section can be on the risque or NSFW side. Another warning is that some games are their original doujin convention releases and not their updated localized versions (e.g. Acceleration of SUGURI 2 on Steam—which is DRM-free on Steam—has HD resolutions and lots of balance/QoL improvements over the original doujin release on DLsite).

Yeah I understand you perfectly and am also thinking on doing the same since this whole situation is an embarrassment to the good will everyone has shown in these last years by dropping Steam or Epic to basically only buy their games here.

There are unfortunately only a few alternatives that I know of, the first and the most known is Itch.io, the website as a great library of indie titles (no AAA so be careful if that detracts you). From what I know their platform is the most honorable compared to the rest because the people over at Itch let the people decide what portions of the base price to go for the devs or for them, not to mention that you can further support the devs by paying higher then the stated price as a sort of tip.

Then there is Humble Bundle which has many titles without drm but they are few and far between nowadays.

There is also this Zoom Platform everyone is talking here in the forums though I can't safely say how their shop is since I haven't had a look.

Either way this will be a big hit for me and many that support this website since not every indie team works with other drm free stores apart from GOG but if that is was it must be done in favor of freedom of speech I will do it regardless.

Zoom is very sparse in terms of games they might have a handful that are not on GOG but you can easily say that GOG has a boatload that are not on Zoom Platform. The functionality of the store is also quite dated and from what I understand they have very limited payment options.

Fireflower has a better adventure game selection.

I recall JastUSA was also a DRM-free eroge/VN selling web site. (Adult warning to those curious.)

Not sure if Indie Gala actually sells DRM-free games, but the games they give away in the "showcase" section are all drm-free.

Definitely worth checking out.

I got some games there for free that I would've happily paid for if they were available here, like Ascension to the Throne and 7,62 High Calibre.
