In any case, if you do go ahead with burning them, make sure you have a way to contain the fire so it doesn't go out of hand.

I don't think you can literally burn a cd, but only melt it.

Unlike windows where things work with the existing installers well, on Linux there are dependencies and things like that. A client would do alot of the work for the user that wouldn't be easy to do by hand.

To be fair, that's probably also why Linux doesn't have a client, yet. I'm not holding my breath on this client thing, though. What all distros will be supported? Can it also keep up with all the deprecation?
