darthspudius: So what? New Vegas was no different and even The Witcher 3 had this issue.
avatar
itchy01ca01: This is all that people need to know. And if THIS is the case, and all the data ISN'T on the Witcher 3 disc, THAT is called DRM, which GOG claims they are completely 100% blah blah blah against.
Calling bullshit on the "Gog doesn't do DRM and isn't as evil as steam".
People will defend them and to a point I can understand why they did it but I had my Collectors Edition a couple of days before release which I couldn't play. That to me is DRM.
avatar
darthspudius: Says the one using GOG.
avatar
amrit9037: As OldFatGuy said earlier we could enjoy games in our caves with PC and no services like steam.

avatar
tomimt: The era of physical copies is coming to its end. Not so long ago I bought C&C collection only ti find out, that the DVD case didn't even have a disc in it, only Origin key.
avatar
amrit9037: Please me it's a joke.
If it's true then I don't want to live on this planet anymore.
avatar
TalkingPear: I don't care if it's digital only, just give me a GOG release!
Its been almost 7 years since Fallout 3 was released and it still isn't here yet so it might be eons until Fallout 4 gets a GOG release.

I agree! Great news, the earlier we can get rid of the hang-up on physical the better.
I've hated Bethesda for as far as before the Steam paid mods scandal, but this physical disc containing only a part of the data expands my hate for them.

You really are a condescending bastard at the best of times, aren't you? What is your problem with people having a choice?

yes because Bethesda are the only ones who have done it. Why not just admit you hate everything then shut up and sod off?

Oh, and Konami. Happy now? Why don't you realize I have the power to talk; and you're powerless to tell me to shut up?

Yeah, Konami went about as low as they can go with it, to the point where many stores had to pull MGSV from shop stores. That was nasty business.

was that not the OP's point?
avatar
amok: was that not the OP's point?
The OP wasn't trying to make a point. He was simply informing everyone was the DVD on which Fallout 4 comes had an incomplete game.

You on the other hand seem to try at every opportunity to score digital warrior brownie points. Some people prefer digital. Others prefer physical. Neither is going away. Both scratch different itches and fulfil different needs. Get over it.

Yeah, such a shame. Can't blame a guy for hoping though, maybe someday...

Due to Bethesda being Bethesda, at least 20 years will pass before there will be a DRM free version of Fallout 4.
Eh, it wouldn't be the first time. I remember back in the day how many people raged over the fact that those AOL promo/coaster discs didn't actually contain all of the internet on them.
