Thanks for the info, this is a bit of a bummer though I never really played them online.

Crosmando: Which is strange because cars could definetely fall under "fair use" in copyright terms. I know Activision (or was it another publisher?) recently said they were going to stop paying licensing fees to firearm companies to have their weapons in Call of Duty, claiming it was fair use.
I am guessing game companies would need to pay legal fees to argue that and win the right to keep using the data(in this case, car models)....some of em might not want to spend the money.
Original NFS 1-4 were great games. EA was not interesting in bringing those back to any store, so I lost my interest as well. Long live EA where games are treated as *art*.

StingingVelvet: Yeah I find it odd they wouldn't just keep selling them as singleplayer games and maybe lower the price. Though I know some NFS games are very online focused, more than the others, and these might be those. I don't see Most Wanted on here for example.

Anyway I'm not that into racing games so whatever.

MysterD: They were on sale this past weekend.
They made this de-listing announcement, after the sale ended.

Also, these games been around for 10 years or so, so....I'm expecting these licenses for cars and music to be up soon too.
Sorry if i missed something, but did NFS Carbon go on sale on Origin? This must be my unluckiest day ever if true :/. Cheers

No clue on Origin versions this past weekend.
These games were on sale on Steam, except Carbon. Carbon wasn't or hasn't been on Steam, of late.
So does that mean those NFS game become abandonware now?!?

Carbon has not been available on PC digitally for several years now. The only digital version that was around was for Xbox 360, but that's now been de-listed.

Thanks for the info. That is what i was thinking. I managed to buy the Xbox 360 online version a while back, it is probably one of the most fun arcade racers i have on that system, in a downloadable version. Really sad to see it get pulled, especially for people that might wanna buy it to relive those sweet nostalgia moments. Cheers

As I know that abandonware thing doesn't exist. if EULA hasn't been changed, even if company which developed the game doesn't exist anymore, EULA is still valid thing.
