I see this when buying a game via Paypal:

Your order summary
Descriptions
58cbba273aa8_377650075690894

The character string changes if I cancel out, return to GOG and go through the order process again (even for the same item)..

Anyone else? Has this always been the case and I haven't paid attention?
It probably links to a specific order number that gets assigned once you go to checkout. Cancel and start again and that's a different transaction, even though it's the same user looking to purchase the same game.

Yeah. That makes sense. Maybe the Paypal summary should read 'transaction ID' rather than description, or have/use a different field so GOG could have a human_meaningful description/ID.

Just a thought. Thanks.
I just started having this same issue today when I was about to buy "Battlespire." I tried closing the PayPal tab and going back to GOG to start the checkout process over, but I still got a long string of numbers. I then tried removing the item from my cart and adding it back but the result was the same.
Unless my memory is failing me, that field normally shows the name of the game you're buying(which helps to confirm that everything has processed correctly from GOG to PayPal). I'm reluctant to make any purchases while this is going on, so it'd be nice if somebody from the GOG staff could weigh-in on the issue.

I guess I could report the issue to support, but since the issue shows up on PayPal's page rather than GOG's, I can't even be certain where the problem is arising.
