After first round when I have two cards to choose from the second one always remains centre screen.

This means I can't choose what I want to deselect & the card remains covering the centre of the melee rows for round two - I therefore can't see the points on the centre cards on that row (mine & opposition).

Anyone else getting this?

How do I rectify?

Yes, it's terrible, when I try to put the ace on the last pack it will not trigger the solitaire success.

More seriously, you could mention the game you refer to, or better still use the specific forum?
Gwent presumably, you'd be better asking on the CDPR Gwent forum.

i can't say i do as I don't play even poker, but I sometimes get similar issues with credit cards. Sometimes they ruin the whole experience, if a credit card is glitched and doesn't work.

I honestly thought this was about his graphics card. :P

Same here.

Perhaps GOG should include a short introduction on using the forum in their 'new user' orientation programme (which currently consists of providing free copies of Galaxy with everything).

As Adalia has pointed out, the OP should try asking on the Gwent forum.

I thought galaxy just installed itself when you visited the site now...

I really thought the same too, until I caught the word "Melee". Unless his graphic cards are engaging in a little skirmish over who'd win superiority and territory, it's an immediate flashbulb that rings "Gwent"!

I was thinking, perhaps Zeogold could add a little something extra in his sticky thread for the newbies specifically seeking questions about Gwent.

Do you really think people that come in here and start these type threads are going to read a sticky? :P These are the same people that stand next to the big ass 'OPEN' sign in from on my inn and ask me if we're open. XD

In my defense, there was so much snow piled up that I couldn't see that sign.
At any rate, you didn't have to hurl empty prescription pill bottles at my head until I left. (It's more polite to throw full ones.)

Hilarious.

Nice welcome for someone new to this.

Welcome to the forums.
If you ask a question about a game without mentioning the name of the game you're talking about, these are the kinds of responses you'll tend to get (and the ones in this thread have been pretty mild and inoffensive.) ; )
(There's a user-created sticky thread for those new to the forums here that you should peruse. It's hardly comprehensive, but it will still help explain how things work [or don't] here.)

Normally, you'll want to ask game-specific questions in the game's/series' dedicated forum (which can be searched for via the search bar at the top of the "Game specific forums" section, below the "General Forums" section in the left column on the Community page; alternatively, find the game in your GOG library and open the "More" dropdown to find a link to that game's forum...though some of these links erroneously lead to this general forum instead). However, since you seem to be asking about Gwent, I'll save you some time and just link you to the CDPR Gwent forums, since that's what GOG's forum link for that game redirects to anyway.

If you're posting through the Galaxy client, doesn't it just take you straight to the General Discussion forum? That's my understanding, which would go a long way to explain why people don't even realize there's a game-specific forum for each game.

No it links to the community page which shows all forums, even game specific ones. If you go to the game page then MORE -> View Forum it should open the specific game forum. The ONLY time it directly open general discussion by default is when the View Forum link is bugged and for whatever reason it doesn't actually link to the specific game forum, then it defaults to general discussion.

As for Gwent, if you click View Forum in Galaxy it will automatically open the Gwent forums in your default browser.

Ah, okay, thanks for the clarification. Then I guess there's not a whole lot of excuse for not using the game-specific forum when you have an issue...
