Bloodygoodgames: I am not remotely what anyone would call a rampant feminist. I just get on with my life, stand up for myself and any other woman I think is being treated shoddily, and hope that women like me get the same rights as every guy.

But, when I just watched the 10 Years of GOG.com video (which is really nice, btw, guys), I have to say I was a tad surprised to see just men featured on the video. (And just white men, at that).

Come on, GOG, there are women that work in the gaming industry and support you.

Surely, you could have found one to feature in the 10 Year Anniversary? And not be like half the folks in the gaming industry -- insistent it's a men only world. Because that's what that video makes it look like (and again, it's a nice video, bar for the absence of anyone not male :) )

Love you guys, don't buy my games anywhere else, so would have also liked to see at least one sole woman (or for that matter even a non-white guy) in your vid :)

Just a thought to keep in mind for the future!!!

And congrats on your 10th Anniversary. Love that you exist :)
So, do you want diversity for the sake of diversity then?
The people who spoke gave their praise for GOG on their 10th anniversary, let's leave it at that shall we?

Perhaps, they are all having a time-off, a well-deserved break off work in celebration of GOG's anniversary, instead of having to appear on a stream. That would be a way to relax certainly!
An oversight is exactly what I thought it was, which is why I mentioned it for next time :)

Gotta say though, the couple of Neanderthal replies don't surprise me either :) After all, Gamergate was pretty indicative of many men in the gaming world. And several years later, it certainly hasn't changed much!

Anyway, got work to do. :)

Again, congrats on the 10 years GOG. Hope we have much more than another 10 years!

They don't play any games lel, unless you think playing a casual clicker phone game for a few minutes while on lunchbreak makes you a "gamer".

Fail to see why you're offended over the fact the people in the video are white and male

I only see this as a troll thread quite frankly, because if it was only women in the video, I really couldn't care.. Some of us are not that thin-skinned/overly sensitive

Did you just assume I am both white and a male because of my avatar which is a Vulcan? I don't remember indicating my race or gender.

Jesus, another one of these threads. Why do these people make such a fuss about this? Why do they always see everything as being aimed against somebody? It could have shown only sentient donkeys from parallel dimension 17 and I wouldn't care.

That being said, I'm bailing from this thread as fast as I can.

And why do you feel like you got to see people who are the same race or the same gender as you to care about gaming or to use GOG? How are you being excluded? That's just dumb.

GOG could have released a video of nothing but women or a video with only black people or only Hispanics and it would not change my view of GOG or make me care or not care about gaming any more than I do now.

Because I, unlike some people place no importance in race or gender. It's irrelevant to me. When you spend your life placing importance on gender and race that's all you see furthering divide and division.

I just see people who like GOG and like gaming and want to share that with others.
