micktiegs_8: I couldn't find the news anywhere here, but it seems like GOG.com (not CDP) have put a substantial kick in the game's funding. Thank Larian on Twitter, because they were correcting an article stating that CDP made the pledge.
I'd say how much it is, but I don't want to just in case I'm not allowed for some reason. I'm guessing that's why #GOGhero has popped up, too.

@gamerebell We have been backed by @GOGcom not CD Project RED.
It was revealed in
kicstarter update #9 posted Sep 16 2015. GOG.com backed the project on Divine Noble (10,000 $) tier. If we assume launch price of the game to be ~50$, GOG will have to sell 667 copies just to recoup the investment (10000/(50*0,3)). I'm sure it'll sell quite few times that here. Ofcource, marketing value of the fact that backing at that tier means GOG.com will be featured in game's title screen is immesurable.
Our Mystery Patron: Revealed!
Some of you may have noticed we have not one, but TWO backers filling out our Divine Noble ($10,000) reward tier. While we were in touch with one of those backers, the other remained a mystery... until now. Today, we'd like to formally thank our good friends (and patrons!) at GOG.com for their very generous contribution to our campaign. We're absolutely looking forward to working with them to cook up a high-ranking Divine Order official and couldn't be happier to have them in our corner for the development of Divinity: Original Sin 2.
