Just watched a video on Linus Tech Tips channel on 10 reasons why Windows is good and they featured GOG and announced an incoming collab and a future video on the topic of backwards compatibility.

Link to the spot in the video.

LTT has quite a lot of viewers. This could greatly increase the public's awareness of GOG so great news.

Nice! Linus'll probably derp around and make a couple of not entirely accurate statements. He doesn't even know it's not Good Old Games anymore . ;) Nonetheless, this should be good for GOG.
Linus?

I love what Good Old Games is doing making old games compatible on modern machines.
Just yesterday I watched the video by that guy, how to make a cheap recording security camera with Raspberry Pi (instead of buying the security camera "as a service" from those companies who want you to pay 50€/month or more to keep your security camera videos on their cloud, without the option to save video feed where you please (either locally, or to cloud of your choice).

Pretty cool tips overall.

Oh, and I thought it was Linus Torvalds.
Neat, as someone who doesn't watch much YouTube I also heard about this guy. From what I understand is that hes amongst the most watch tech YouTubers out there, which is nice.

Everyone does seem to be very acceptive towards the ideas that GOG represents so them being in the public eye is what matters most. More people should know about GOG and what they're doing.
Most likely GOG is paying him to be mentioned on his channel.

Yeah he's quite good though I don't always agree with him. But boy oh boy. Never show that video to the Linux community, you'll never hear the end of it.

I totally agree. I've never seen the point of out-sourcing security ….
He used to work as a sales clerk at a place called NCIX (which has since folded). I bought the parts for my first computer build from him. My, how things have changed.

Torvalds having his own YT channel would be amazing.
