Okay, ever since GOG came out with a client (the RIGHT KIND of client... an OPTIONAL one) I've always known at some point that even though I have zero interest in using it all the time, after having experienced other clients I did at least want to install it, use it for a month or so, and see how it compared to the others I've experienced. To date I still haven't done it.

I'm ready to do it I think (it is out of Beta now isn't it??) but there is still ONE little thing that's keeping from doing so I wanted to ask. I distinctly (though I can't link to sorry) remember reading on these forums about some sort of "stuff" that gets "left" on your computer after you installed Galaxy that could bork some stuff. As I said, I have zero interest in using it long term.... so after I dabble with it for a month or so I do want to uninstall it... and obviously I'd like to that with ZERO problems.

So does anyone recall the reports of those problems or know of any others that you may feel are significant enough that maybe I shouldn't do this little experiment?

Thanks for any info.
Nevermind. I think I've completely made up my mind to avoid even dabbling with it for curiosity purposes after reading this.

Sorry for the confusion. If I could delete this thread I would but I can't. Hopefully no one will respond to it (DOH after I just did) and let it run back to 20 pages behind as fast as possible.

Just hearing to many negative things about it. And as I said... it was just strictly curiosity purposes anyway. I was never going to keep using it long term.
