It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

I'm on Windows 10 and I have my firewall set to drop outgoing traffic by default. I have allowed an exception for GalaxyClient.exe so the client works fine. But I always get an annoying "GOG Galaxy - update problem warning" every time I run it.

The firewall is causing this, but I don't know what other apps to allow thru (create rules for).

I have tried adding:

GalaxyClient.exe
GalaxyUpdater.exe
GalaxyCommunication.exe
GalaxyClientService.exe

What am I missing?

Thanks!

Try:
CrashReporter.exe
GalaxyOverlay.exe
GalaxyClient Helper.exe
GOG Galaxy Notifications Renderer.exe
and get back to us ; )

Hmm, no luck after adding that whole list.
This should work:

C:\Program Files (x86)\GalaxyClient\GalaxyClient.exe
C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy\redists\GalaxyCommunication.exe
C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy\redists\GalaxyUpdater.exe
C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy\redists\overlay\GalaxyOverlay.exe
C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy\temp\desktop-galaxy-updater\GalaxyUpdater.exe

Change the paths according to your configuration.

The following file can be left blocked as it just sends a crash report to GOG, which might be a privacy issue (or allow it if you want to help fix problems -- it will ask you for further information):

C:\Program Files (x86)\GalaxyClient\CrashReporter.exe

All other files can be ignored currently (but this could change in the future).

Hope that works for you. Have fun! ^:)
YES. I can narrow it down to only 3 that are needed.

The winners are:

C:\Program Files (x86)\GalaxyClient\GalaxyClient.exe
C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy\redists\GalaxyUpdater.exe
C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy\temp\desktop-galaxy-updater\GalaxyUpdater.exe

I never would have found the "temp" GalaxyUpdater. What the heck is that all about?

Anyway thanks!!!
