As a whole package, I think GOG is vastly superior to Steam. One day I woke up and realised how absurd it is that my gaming library has to be locked behind a client. Steam is here to solve a problem that never existed. GOG allows me to simply boot up my computer and load a game, like I was doing 20 years ago. Somehow, Steam has normalised making the process more difficult. The forums are practically unusable - I like to tell myself that they're just infested with bots and shills. I hate to think there are actual people spending so much of their time being genuinely garbage to each other. Vile people, vile place.

I have large libraries on all platforms but have been collecting games on GOG on and off for a while now, I am just starting to love GOG and going into the future GOG will be my first choice. good system, plenty of games I like and no DRM and the fact they take the time to adjust games to work with new Operating Systems is just glorious.

kudos to all the staff at GOG.
