Why didn't you do like Joe did, then, and just say something like "I don't think dropping sender names right now is a good idea"?

You were the one who suggested the senders could be sending claims, knowing likely full well that i'd drop the names at some point anyways(especially if I suspected either you or Joe were scum and didn't want names dropped for that reason). So if anyone "forced" that claim/"claim" it was yourself, by not replying correctly when I asked about dropping the sender names.

Addition to post 903: Essentially, by planting the idea that messages were likely claims you (if town) painted a target on your own back if/when I decided to drop the names.

As I don't think you'd probably do such a thing and possibly put other town at risk in such a manner....and combined with things like the suggestion(even if a mild one) for a name claim & how you seem to be responding to my posts(One would think a town!Blotunga would want the courier on their side, so they'd maybe...um, I dunno.....consider delivering their messages in the future)....I am still not convinced.

Because people who sent or were going to send messages would be under scrutiny...town message senders would likely be scrutinized by scum behind the scenes, and all message senders would likely be scrutinized by town(and maybe even some scum trying to act like town) in the game thread here.

Really? I'm not so sure there's that much to read into whether people tried to send a message or not... I'd have thought everybody would be trying to do it just for lols, I didn't expect half the town to be queueing up to tell scum their powers... but if anything doesn't that give town a reason for wanting a message courriered, and so make those who tried to send messages more likely town?


The way I see it, a lot of mafia players are a bit stuck in the mindset that blotunga's playstyle is 'scummy', and I'd encourage them to try to think outside the box a bit.

First, I am shocked that Pookina was lynched. S/he was on my clear list (yes, I have a list) and I felt sorry for being busy when the wagon was building on him. He practically committed suicide.

Vitek turning out to be a townie was the 2nd shock. He was in #1 on my scum list. That made me question the dynamics I have in my mind.

I sense some strange relation between ZFR and Trent. Trent was also on my scum list until he claimed. Now, I do believe that both ZFR and Trent are town, but if one of them is scum, the other one is scum as well.

Most of the roles are revealed. We know that scum has a sniper and we also know that they have an alleged infector. We also have a normal Townie, Mr. Handy(alleged), a Coward(alleged), a Scout(alleged), Shelterer, Genderbender, and a courier. That is 9 roles out of 14 people. I also have a strong feeling that we have a Profiler, a CSI, and a medic (out of content). If there is a watcher (woman stalker), that leaves only 1 role left for the scum, which can either be a telepath or a super mutant. If that's the case, my vote would be on a telepath to balance the strengths. That means only 3 scum.

But of course, that's just brainstorming and I might be (probably) wrong.

It kinda caught my eye when JoeSapphire didn't want to acknowledge the fact that there is a sniper in the game. Maybe he didn't read that part or he is the sniper himself and replied without thinking to the case.

blotunga's "knowledge" about the things without saying how also caught my attention. He could he possibly know BOTH flub was sheltered and vitek wasn't the real target? Either he is a watcher or he is part of scum. I don't see a 3rd option.

Funny you bring up lols type messages.....scum might want to send messages as well, to lessen the chances a town is able to send a useful message to another town.

And an aside: Didn't ZFR also start to suspect Trent more and blotunga a but less today(d2) as well?

The reason I wasn't sure if "Joe said we might not have a sniper so he either didn't read the flavour or he is the sniper" is I'D HAVE THOUGHT the sniper would be more likely to pick up on the fact that there is a sniper in the game.
