As i've said before, I usually see everyone not verified town somehow as possible scum....of course that means they're possible town as well.

In Joppo's case, I see it as more likely that they're scum, but of course there is always a small chance I am wrong. I don't feel that is likely to be the case, though, this time.....mainly from various posts(how they're worded, timing, etc) by Joppo in his defense, and gut feeling.

That said, why drag the "day" out for more than is needed(beyond maybe getting input from the lurkers) if this is to be the course we will inevitably choose?

Side question: Why did you unvote when Joppo didn't seem to be in danger of being hammered(he had gone over a half an IRL day without being hammered when you did so) and you suspect them? Waiting for more input from the lurkers perhaps?

You surely read #541 carefully before you thought of asking this question? It's a very short and to-the-point post.

And haste is often the poor choice. What's the hurry? We have ample time and Joppo isn't going anywhere. So we might give him the courtesy that he may defend himself and also hear what everyone else thinks.

Joppo had the chance to defend himself...on Day 2. I'd rather we get on with the show soon to be honest.

Read Post 549 by Pooka.....besides Joppo having a chance to defend themselves on D2, everyone also had a chance to voice their opinion on Joppo on D2.

Also weren't you the one who said you didn't like the game getting boring? Well isn't stretching out a hammer a bit boring as well?

Read my reply above to Dedo and also Pooka's post 549....Joppo had a chance to do just that and people had a chance to weigh in on D2 and till now on D3. To me, that is more than fair, and if we are going to do this than I feel we should get on with it.

At this point I don't really care what Joppo says anymore as my view of him is already tainted beyond the point of no return and he has my vote (which I clearly stated before).

I care what others have to say and that isn't limited to thought's about Joppo. Regardless of his flip one of us is dying tonight. I'd rather make sure everyone gets to speak before we call it. Joe has alread made an appearance, even though it wasn't anything spectacular but nmilllar hasn't said a single thing since Micro's lynch.

I was under the impression you also like to hear from everyone rather than not, before proceeding with whatever. The Day only started 2 RL days ago. I see zero reasons to be concerned about missing the chance to hammer.

Well that's no surprise, that's when D2 ended. From my point of view he's only been missing for a little over 2 days. I've issued prods, not much more I can do. I don't have any contact information for him outside of the forum.

I guess I'll start putting feelers out for replacements in case he doesn't come back.

Good point....i'd also like to get as many suspects lists as possible.

It's less being concerned, and more that...dunno how to say this but i'll try: Ever read a good book, and you're tired but the book is getting good and you have an idea of what might happen next, so you want to push on to find out what happens next before you call it quits for the night?

Well that's me right now....I have a gut feeling we're right with this pick, and my desire to see the outcome(and if it matches what I think it will be) slightly overrode my other usual desire to want to wait longer for other players to post their thoughts.

So yeah, I don't mind waiting....as long as we eventually hammer this one through at some point.
(also crossing all my fingers and toes that we're right with this pick)
