I always want to buy the cooler games on GOG but since they are more expensive in GOG, I don't.

For example No Man's Sky is 50$ on Steam while it's 60$ on GOG. So I got it from Steam. I wish Gog at least matched Steam prices.
*sigh*
GOG is more expensive than Steam, everywhere, all the time.

We pay a premium for our DRM-free installers.
Just checked. Steam and GOG are exactly the same price for me for No Man's Sky (in CDN bucks). Right to the penny. Not sure what's happening for you in Turkey. Maybe ask GOG Support about that?

ancalimon:
GOG more expensive than Steam . Period.

I never brought any game on steam even though at my place steam games are one fourth price of GOG games.
Anyway no one is putting you on gunpoint to buy game here but if you really want a game here then wait for sale.

Erdogan Bonus, maybe?

Steam has Turkish lira support, which means that the price is based on the native currency and not on the USD, as is the case on GOG.

It's the same price for No Man's Sky in the United States on both GOG and Steam: $60. No difference.

This obviously a thread fishing for more visits to Steam's website. Congratulations, you succeeded.

The OP never claimed that there is a difference in the United States. So what's your point?
'I wish Gog at least matched Steam prices'

Yeah, because gog and Valve decide the price of each game. :P

He has none, he's been making irrelevant point's in multiple places today... not to mention trying to shame a developer.

To be fair, it's quite possible the developer/publisher decided prices are the same on both GOG and Steam, but Steam's prices are fixed, whereas GOG's prices change with the exchange rates.

I suppose it depends where you live to, or has Steam decided that everyone pays the same USD price regardless?

Regards to that; I got No Man's Sky for $20 cheaper here as opposed to Steam. Only $62AUD... So it can't always be an exchange rate thing, can it?

It matches. Just not for all games. For example in Russia "Starfleet Academy" on GOG is slightly more expensive than on Steam. But "The Longest Journey + Dreamfall" bundle on Steam costs almost twice as much than on GOG.
