It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

I noticed the standard GOG news page kind of disappeared. I'm guessing it's due to the sale? I was wondering if it'd be coming back?
Its due to the new layout. Its still there just right down at the bottom of the page.

Stop making it worse! I want actually to see the news! Revert!

It's always the first place I go when I visit, and a nice long list -- with details -- is quite helpful. Now you only effectively see one thing and two tiny things, but only a teaser image. Useless. I can be sure this will help to sell me LESS, since it's now that much harder to find out what's new.

Oh no, it has not disappeared. It's just at the very bottom of the page with barely any text and just images. Will that be the new norm from now on? I really hope not.

Oh yes, you are right.

*Sigh* Due to my usual browser being a somewhat older version, the bottom bits apparently got cut off. After viewing it on my secondary browser (which is ironically newer), I could see the new layout.

Thanks again. I have to say I'm not liking the new design much.
I'd like to see the News section above the games lists. I do prefer the previous version though.

I wish there was gog.com/news I could go to directly, I don't like scrolling past ALL THE THINGS every time I check the site during a sale. Slow connection, too.

No problem. I'm not either, theres so much space wasted. But that seems to be the trend on the modern internet. That will teach me for getting a big screen.

To be fair, pretending to be a web designer is a trend on the modern Internet. That's why so many sites lose informative value and get giant blobs of nothing.
I prefer the older design. Columns of text are great for me, but don't seem to be very fit for millennials, who tend to prefer more imagery. I suppose we'll get used to it.
To be fair, I've never actually read that section too deeply. If it vanished, I wouldn't have noticed until someone mentioned it, because I tend to drift into the forums after seeing the daily deals.
What news?
All i see is written news and nothing below it.

Same here. Apparently GOG doesn't care to test their design on slightly older versions. It's not the first time this has happened either. One would think they would learn from past mistakes, but nope, definitely not GOG.

Why would you use an older browser, though?

Because the versions past my current one start breaking my addons which are crucial. I also had never any issues with it except on GOG, despite browsing the web a lot.
