@OP - I can understand, if you are suggesting that some of the old games here are not good ones, but GOG sell plenty of old games, so it is quite funny to get a thread like this just after we've had a bunch of old games turn up here, some good some not so good, all depending on who you are. And really its been relatively consistent with old games turning up here.
You've been a member since 2015, and I've only been a member since 2017, but I have seen oodles of old games turn up here in all that time, many of them really great old games. So I don't know where you've been paying attention to, but clearly it is not where you should be to make such judgments.
Rumor has it, that GOG can only get what they can get, and many old games are tied up in red tape of ownership and licenses.
And I don't know why, but it seems we almost get cast offs or rejects from the likes of Ziggurat Games much of the time, with their better offerings ending up on Steam. At least from the perspective of my tastes.
So I can agree, that GOG sometimes does not get "Good" old games ... just mediocre old ones ... at times.
