I'm also not on Twitter, but if you're so inclined I'd try contacting support or, given the presumably slow response time at the moment, look for a GOG employee/blue that is currently online on the forum.

I don't use twitter nor ever plan to ... I just know none users can see stuff on it without a account usually Some aren't aware of that so was trying to be helpful just encase .. Not trying to be rude just letting you know why I mentioned it
There was a day-long banner in the front-page carousel, but unless you look through the entire carousel daily (or you happened to notice my post here) you'd only notice by chance.

I thought I saw notice of them leaving the sale it in an e-mail, but I can't find any mention of it in my trashed messages, so I guess it must have been on the site's front page. But then, I'm in the habit of giving that page (including the carousel) a good once-over once each day I visit, in part because the News section is...how you say...not so good.
I did notice a timer counting down yesterday, signaling that the games would leave the sale. So it wasn't actually silent.

We had a timer on the front page as well as on the partner page, which had all the titles listed. The tweet about their games being in Sale till the 28th, was a miscommunication as they left our Summer Sale on the 22nd. Also thank you for everyone's feedback we will do our best to make it more visible in the future when a Publisher is leaving the Sale early.

The funniest thing here is that you advertise your newsletter very aggressively (literally under EVERY news and release), but when it really could be useful, you didn't use it to inform your customers that Focus Home Interactive games were leaving your summer sale earlier.

Now, because you haven't properly informed your customers (you know, not everyone checks the main page all the time), I'll have to wait for the next sale, where The Technomancer and Mars: War Logs will be available.
