satoru: Not your "let me duct tape wine together and pray"
Why are all of you stick to the wine incident and ignore other two? Imperium Galactica II showed that there were no testing on the modern Linux systems, Stellaris showed that there were (or maybe still) no appropriate cooperation between GOG and developers.

tropit9: not a linux user, but my personal expirience with gog support used to be fantastic up untill 2017... they used to be really fast with respone times and also answerd a lot of questions. but since around that time, they respone time simply got aweful.i am currently still waiting for an answer that i opend more than a week ago, and filed another one with another topic at hand. hope they read this, maybe someone will address me at last.
Thank you for the opinion.

Because fundamentally 66% of your 'complaints' arent actually even relevant yet you seem to think they are?

1) "doesnt work on my system" doesnt mean "was never tested"

2) developers release patches onto GOG. Feel free to go scream at Paradox

3) Again wine isnt supported

"hey did you have a bad experience with support where you asked a question that you knew they had no answer to and got no answer! wow that's terrible isnt it!"

My mistake I didn't understand you are taking advantage of it, with a false pretence, to vent your frustration.
I apologize for replying to you as I had never any wish or intention to be part of your rant.
Are you adequate? What kind of advantage are you talking about?
I clearly said why I asked such questions and what I want to achieve but you began to tell about "contacting directly the developers" and then about "the Community Wishlist".
I apologize for beginning to explain my position considering "contacting directly the developers" and will not continue any discussions with you.
Farewell.

1) "doesnt work on my system" doesnt mean "was never tested"
Was not tested on _all_ declared operation systems, maybe they tested it on the older ubuntu.

2) developers release patches onto GOG. Feel free to go scream at Paradox
Partially agreed but there is a complain upper in the thread why I think the store should do this.

3) Again wine isnt supported
The problem was not in Wine, I asked to check the DLC. Is the "Wine" word some king of the red rag for the bull no matter what happened we will blame Wine?

"hey did you have a bad experience with support where you asked a question that you knew they had no answer to and got no answer! wow that's terrible isnt it!"
Yes, I had a bad experience with support and it is not terrible just work stuff, I try to find out how often this happens and is there any sense to send tickets to the support.

yes becuase you know they're going to be testing against all future Linux versions and all future drivers and combinations there in FOR ALL ETERNITY?

Yeah just get Bob the Intern to do that. Take him what a few hours?

And again "doesnt work for me" does NOT mean "doesnt work for everyone"

Partially agreed but there is a complain upper in the thread why I think the store should do this.
And what does 'support' have to do with that? Oh yes nothing!

The problem was not in Wine,
Really? Not a problem with wine? Is that your story now.

Looks at OP

Kings Bounty Dark Side premium DLC - got error during installation via Wine
"error during installation via Wine"

"installation via Wine"

"via Wine"

"Wine"

Oh yeah but totally 'not a problem with Wine'

If you're gonna lie don't post said lie in the OP for all to see.

Oh and just in case you get some funny idea to change the OP

given 66% of your tickets had literally nothing to do with support your 'rant' is sorta pointless

You sold me something that you say should work on the Ubuntu 18.04 LTS, it is not working, the sell is a fraud and you - a cheater. They support only Ubuntu, so testing on a new versions of the Ubuntu will not take much time from Bob.

And what does 'support' have to do with that? Oh yes nothing!
I did not demand an instant solution, I asked about ETA of the patch, in such case they should contact with Paradox support and get the ETA from them.

Really? Not a problem with wine? Is that your story now.

Dude did you even try reading the post? YOU PRECIOUS WINDOWS HAS THE SAME ERROR, it is not Wine related it is about DLC, stop listening voices in your head.

I got you opinion (you never got problems with GOG support and I am dumb), will not thank you for calling me a lier, I think we can stop here.
Would anyone else like to share their experience?
