Hello and thanks to anyone who can figure out this problem for me. I have a desktop PC and I will list the components. MSI A88FM-E45 mother board, MSI R7 360 video card, 8 gig 1600 ram, 32" HD TV for monitor using HDMI cable with a AMD A8 6500 CPU/APU, Realtech sound from the mother board and the operating system is Win 7 sixty-four bit Home Premium. { I hope that is enough info to help with my problem. }

The game downloaded fine through GOG and includes the pirate DLC. I started the game and it went fine till I was half way through the opening running around with the female Orc. Then the game had broken sound and locked up on me. I believe when I looked the resolution 1900 x something so I lowered the resolution down to 1200 x something. I started again and the same thing happened a little farther along in the game. As you can tell I am not good at how to adjust things to make games word properly. If it is not the resolution { the game set the setting not me when it was downloading. } than what am to do to set my PC up to smoothly run the game?

I understand that the sound seems to be involved and during the download a window opened and said that my drivers were advanced compared to the download ones and only offered the "cancel" option so I clicked on it and the game finished loading.

Other games such as Skyrim and The witcher 3 run flawlessly at high resolution and at 60 fps. Is it possible that this game just will not function properly using my present PC?

If anyone answers I want to thank you here and now but please do not be too technical because I am 68 years old and a dummy as far as how my PC works. The registry and how to add/delete things is way over my head. If more info concerning my PC is needed just let me know and I will do my best to tell you.

Thank you,
Ray-J

It should work,I would contact support and ask them WHY.
Maybe it's a problem with the PhysX engine. It's the piece of software calculating in-game physics.
Try installing the legacy version, as the newest version could cause trouble with the game:

Good point,I can vaguely remember having a similar problem with the first one.

Thank you and I will try that. Any easy steps for me on how to get that done? I play the games but do not have any experience with anything besides clicking on 'install'. Also another suggested I contact GOG. I have tried but am having no success finding where to go to contact them. Thanks you again.

Here's the direct link:

Otherwise, you can find it by clicking on "SUPPORT" at the top of the page and then selecting "Contact Us".

Click here to file a support request for this specific game. To get to the Support section of the site in general, click "Support" on the GOG menu bar near the top of your screen (right next to "Account"). Be aware, though, that you might not get a speedy reply back, as it is the weekend, and most of their staff is headquartered in Europe (several hours ahead of us here in the States).

Also, maybe have a look in the Two Worlds series forum to see if anyone else has had the problem you're having, and thus might have posted a solution.
Following up what Infra said, the link below should take you to a contact form specific to Two Worlds 2:

edit:
Looks like Hunch has already posted it.

If reinstalling PhysX won't help, I'd try reinstalling the game if I were you Also temporary disabling antivirus software as well as defragmenting disk drive may help..
Just don't use built-in defragmenter, might be better than use to be in windows 98 but still pretty much useless. Personally I recommend MyDefrag, free and in my opinion best, using it for ages.
