My question is if this is intentional or not. In the Windows Programs and Features list, on the games I have installed from Steam, the publisher is the game's actual publisher. For example, on Hollow Knight, the publisher is Team Cherry. On a game installed on GOG, such as Dead Cells, the publisher is GOG.com. I really prefer seeing the publisher as the people who made the game, instead of where I downloaded it from.

I don't know if this is the right place to post this? This is my first time on the forums. Images of the Program and Features list are attached.

Maybe it's because firewalls & agressive antiviruses? Or just so.

I'd guess it's because GOG uses custom installers, meaning that the package is signed by GOG rather than the original publisher.

Yes, and? Would you rather have to deal with 400 separate entries for all the publishers on GOG?
