I really want to know too. There seems absolutely no logic in that (even less than with the usual scheme). There are also some usual countries missing.

The max is 27%, so still nope.

VAT in the UK is 20% => price: -4%
Germany VAT: 19% => price: +33%
Sweden VAT: 25% => price: +24%

country with the highest VAT (Hungary: 27%) pays the same as Luxembourg with 17% VAT.

I think he was being cynical. Because whenever you ask publishers or developers about regional pricing, you get the answer "We have to do it, because of VAT.".

Btw, Coma - Recut has an interesting pricing. When I buy the base game + the upgrade in my region, I have to pay $27,95. When I buy the Deluxe version right away (which has the exact same content), it will cost me $29,45.

I've noticed because my own country (SK) is missing and the list seems to be smaller than usual.
Also MC, MT, NL, CL, MX, PA, PE are missing.

And i find it ridiculous . We still using our own currency in here instead of euro , and let's face it our GDP is still under the ass of the frog . Why can't we pay less than the UK , Germany , Luxembourg , even Poland ?

interestingly, none of the games from Digerati Distribution do have regional pricing in europe (aside from the rubel discount). you'll see no fair price package on any of their games
except for the newly added Coma - Recut Deluxe and Coma - Recut Deluxe Upgrade

I merged these back into the regions where they came from originally
SK => regCZ
MC,MT,NL => regDE
CL,MX,PA,PE => regAR

maybe keeping the same region names as magog, while using a different definition wasn't the brightest idea
but I find it easier to read with a few regions listed instead of a long list of countries
