Matewis: useless?? Never got the falcon sadly, but got a chicken walker and x-wing. It's a humble collection, but someday, somehow, I'm going to complete it. Might have to give up on pc gaming to be able to afford it though :P

If you like that, you should see this. It's my favorite Lego Star Wars thing out of all of them, I think.

If it makes you feel any better, this is what happened when my cousins little kids came to visit while I wasn't there. I mean those little heathens gave Han Solo a lightsaber! And a double bladed one on top if it all... Heathens I say!

Man I can hear him ... and now I'm pissed off at Force Awakens again :P
I'll use this thread to say the last Solo trailer looked pretty fun and I look forward to the movie. I'm not a huge Star Wars nut, but I enjoy most of them.

I think the name for that movie is "Star Wars Episode VII, The Wallet Opens".

It was just a lame cash grab from Disney and killing Han Solo off (especially in the manner that he died) was disappointing as hell.

Breja: I'll ne honest, I may be a Star Wars fan, but I could not give less of a crap about the whole "Star Wars day thing". Although, coincidentally, while looking fo something else entirely I noticed this beauty. Damn, I wish I could afford throwing money away for completely useless stuff like that :D

Well, kinda useless, yeah. Really damn cool though, that's for sure. I'm not bashing on it. A lot of that Star Wars Lego looks really great and I'd love to have that X-Wing of yours. I've only got a U-Wing and some ofthe microfighters series (Y-Wing, Resistance X-Wing, TIE Advanced and AT-AT).

There are some amazing Star Wars sets yes. Apart from the upscaled falcon, the sandcrawler is probably the best one I've seen: https://www.brickowl.com/catalog/lego-sandcrawler-set-75059
Don't know why, but I've always been fascinated by the sandcrawler. Reminds me a bit of Dune too.

I really like the "not AT-AT" from Last Jedi. It may be just a slightly altered original trilogy design, but it is kinda bad-ass.

But by far the best one is the Venator Star Destroyer. Whatever I may think of the prequels, some of the designs there were really great, and I absolutely love those republic destroyers.

Definitely, especially in between the arena fight and the confrontation with Dooku in Attack of the Clones. I remember seeing all manner of badass vehicles on the battlefield, several of which that got their own lego models from what I remember.
Happy Star Wars Day!!!
May the farce be with you. =P
Watched The Last Jedi for the second time to "celebrate." Liked it less than the first time. Such bad writing in spots. Wife was watching it for the first time, gave up halfway through and went to bed (and she loved Force Awakens). Weird.

I think that's what - like Breja - I don't get about the whole holiday thing. The series really peaked with the first two releases many decades ago.

The last few have at least beat back the stench of the prequel trilogy, but they're really just ok. As I was being barraged by Star Wars well wishing in the department store today, this seems more like a victory of Disney marketing (or maybe just buying in at the right time and riding the wave as far as it goes) than anything that should actually be meaningful.

Now get off my lawn, ya damn kids.
The prequels definitely have cheesy bad writing in spots, but it kind of fits the Flash Gordon inspired aesthetic to some degree. Last Jedi just had bad-bad writing in spots, trying to be funny or Shakespeare and failing completely at both. I'm not sure which is worse really, but I'd probably put Revenge of the Sith above Last Jedi at least.

I liked the other two Disney movies better. Rogue One has obvious plot structure issues from studio interference, but I'd still say it's the best of the three IMO.
