I have just finished Hard West. It was good. Probably not X-COM good, but very enjoyable nonetheless.

I'm not really sure real time would have worked with it. All the tricks like ricochet and the most freakish skills require a level of precision hard to achieve in real time, besides the whole luck system would just not work otherwise.

I'm of course being a little silly. I think it's jealousy on my part.

I liked the base setup of the game, but the luck mechanic made the game kinda bad. You couldn't hit enemies until their luck ran out, and when you hit them they get new luck. Terrible design.

I don't even understand french, but i know he says the game is shit, for wathever reasons.
