ShadowWulfe: Next time I'll try that trick.
I was really pumped when I saw Saga Frontier 1 on PC not because I cared for the first one, but because that hopefully means number 2 is on the way.
My obsessive compulsive does not allow me to simply "finish" the game if there are other things to be done. Besides, Gustave's story deserves a conclusion instead of being left to an ignominious husk.
To me, the announcement of that made me feel sad, as I likely won't get to play that version due to the lack of a DRM-free release. I may end up getting the game through less than legal means at some point, but not so soon after release, unless Square Enix decides to start releasing the games I actually associate with the company on DRM-free platforms. (And even then, I'm mainly interested on their older works and remasters of said works, not in most of their newer works.)
Also, note that SF1 and SF2 are very different games. (If you haven't played SF1 before, my advice is to not start with Lute or Riki; if you do decide to start as Lute anyway, don't take Captain Hamilton up on her offer until you think you're strong enough to beat the game.)
