Hi,

I recently discovered GOG and I wanted to ask if it was possible to add a feature that I enjoyed on Steam. When I am on Steam, I was able to "hide" the games I didn't want in the store. That way, when browsing for new games, I knew that I didn't have to see the same games that I know I am never going to buy, making for a "searching experience" that much more enjoyable.

Does anyone know if the the people managing the website have plans to add such a feature in the future? I looked around a bit, but it seems like there is no way for me to hide the games I don't want.

Thanks for your replies, ideas, thoughts, and comments.

Happy gaming,

Hello and welcome,

There's no way to hide items when browsing the store or in promotional e-mails.
Upcoming site features are not announced beforehand. Whether this is being worked on or not is anyone's guess.

You can only hide items when searching the store:
1. Start on the All Games page.
2. Hover the mouse over a row in the sidebar, e.g. Upcoming, then click the eye icon that appears on the right. Those types or games will then be hidden. You can do this with tags, genres, features, etc. The caveat is that not all games are properly tagged, so some things may remain visible.
3. Once you've hidden something, you can bookmark that page, to load those filters again more easily. This works both in a browser and in GOG Galaxy.

Data grid view for gog.com store page is a user script that should allow hiding specific titles, according to its description.
No, that doesn't exist.
People will insist it does, but it's an ephimeral implementation and does not permanently hide games while browsing.

You can hide games in your library already, but that's really just a different listing.
