Use the Galaxy client if you belong in this group.
Problem is: You'll have to download and install Galaxy before it can download and install games for you. There's no difference between installing a client or a game. If you can't install a game, you can't install Galaxy either. If you can install Galaxy but have no idea how to install a game... you're... well... Nah, forget it, I don't want to insult anyone.
Well, all is well if they managed to get playing :-)

We had people here who didn't know they had to download ALL the installer files and put them in the same directory (for large games)...
So for some people the client is really an easier way.

It's also worse now with clickbait articles clogging up information on these subjects. In addition to the problem of rubbish documentation.

We reallly handhold people a bit too much(in general)...I say give em basic instructions on the site/on pages/in library mode and if they cannot get all that then meh.

Especially the ones that are ads for some program disguised as ways to remove a piece of malware from one's system.

Also those bloody YT videos where people have to put their intros(usually with edgy music and graphics) on every video and take forever to explain what to do(I mean yes, explain it so people can get it, but don't take more than twice the amount of time need to say such).

This is the perfect way to teach someone something. Give them something they've never seen before, give them a task, and a time limit. Eventually they figure it out...

It's a lot better for helping people to retain information, at any rate.

Darvond: Sometimes, I wonder how you people deal with mysteries such as "Where did my food go when I closed the refrigerator doors".
*lol* Brilliant ;-)
