So, what are your guys opinions on the new "Humble Monthly" initiative from Humble Bundle?

For those of you who don't know what that is, here's a short explanation, ripped straight from their site:

"PC games delivered digitally to you in a monthly subscription bundle.
Join for a new slate of games every month. Every bundle you get is yours to keep."

You can keep those games even after you've decided that you don't want to subscribe anymore and the pricing is set to a fixed(?) amount of 12$ each month. Right now you get Legend of Grimrock 2 instantly if you "buy" into this whole thing before November 6th. They also promise that the games included in those packages wasn't in any bundles at all up to this point.

As much as I love the idea of a MEGA-PIÑATA I'm kind of sceptical. I already own Legend of Grimrock 2 but on the other hand, if it's an indicator of the quality of those bundles, it looks like we're in for some treats. It could also only be bait. "Hey, here's a high quality title for making you buy into our bundle so we can offload a crapload of shitty games on you." :P
I think it's awful. I would grab it only for Grimrock 2, but it was 75% off during the last Steam sale, so there's no really sense. You are literally buying promises, here. It's not like PSPlus where you know one week before what you'll get, you'll know the bundle only when it will release, and you won't have a chance to buy it if not by preordering it.

Good chances are you will burn your money because you'll already own some of those titles, maybe from other bundles or sales, so it's not really worth imho.
You've got some catching up to do ;)

Forget the forum search. Use google with site:gog.com parameter ;-)
I don't buy cats in bags. Especially if they are so expensive.

Yeah, that is what GOG recommends as well. ;)
You'll have no idea of what games will be included and you can't even choose a genre.
You have to be either very rich or irresponsible with money to buy into this whole thing.

At the very least let people choose their own freakin' genres, even better let them make their own bundle of games that each monthly game will be drawn from.

The whole concept of turning 'purchasing' into a game in itself is dumb and irresponsible.
