He said he played it on release day. Apparently he doesn't realized it's been patched since then.

Or, or ...just fix the freaking bugs and then make a DLC.

I keep reading about what a top tier game sits just below the bugs and wish the devs would prioritize bug fixes. If that was done I would probably have purchased the game before now. As it is -- especially after hearing Pathfinder 2 development has already begun -- I'll probably hold off until the entire package (base game and dlcs) is a more "manageable" price.

At this point I'd advise you to wait for the next big sale, and pick up explorer + dlcs (imperial edition goodies aren't worth im), as the season pass has gotten extremely cheap as of the last sale.
