Ukraine had nuclear weapons.

They gave them up in 1994 by treaty after the collapse of the Soviet Union.

How stupid they must feel now. And how clever the West and Russia must feel.

true, most powerful power source ever that sadly is very finite.

reserved for space travel today.
and even the biggest players have very little.
and making it is.. hit and miss.

Why would you want Uranium-232? U-232 is a byproduct from the thorium cycle, it's radioactive waste. The only thing that will give you is radiation poisoning. Also, the 80-year number doesn't really make sense. U-232 has a half-life of 69 (nice!) years, but that’s just the half-life.

And how did you use the halflife of U232 to claculatethat "it wouldbe good" 80 years? You can just oultine the quick math you said you did in post 9? After all, you did say you did some "qucik maths", that was not a lie, was it?

And i would argue that if you do not say foolish things, then you would also not be taken as a fool.
