Preordered retail for ps4 and future ps5 version, it is playable for now just needs performance patches.

I pre-ordered it more than a year ago.

Why? Because my total Witcher playtime (all three games) is probably more than 2,000 hours, with half of it in Witcher 3 alone. And no matter how shit CP77 turns out to be, I still feel I didn't give enough money to CDPR for all the fun (and tears) I had.

Well actually I've already played it, although I thought I wouldn't because "hardware". And I like it so far. Not as WOW, HELL YEAH as Witcher 3, but pretty good.

It looks like a fun game with some issues that isn't just tied to bugs and performance but issues that goes deeper. I will get it at some point but will give CDPR time to iron out the kinks. In the meantime I think I will finally buy Soldier of Fortune 2 - I remember it as a good game back in the day.

It is the first game I bought before it was released and the first time I bought a game at the original full price in at least 15 years. I usually wait for a GoTY and a damn good sale on most games. My current video card is a GF 1050 Ti and it runs at 30fps.... When I first got Skyrim I had a worse fps initially. I plan to get a faster video card to help with the speed but I really am enjoying the game.

I'll wait until they release Complete Edition like I did bought TW3 GOTY Edition

Bought it, played it for a little over 13 hours and now am completely bored of it. Might try again in several months when they've hopefully fixed it.

I was ready to boycott GOG for the whole weekend, but then I noticed that New World Computing bundle that I want to buy now.

I also started a hunger strike, but suddenly I realized boy am I hungry, better to eat something, so I prepared a big sandwich and ate some yoghurt and nuts with it. I'm back to the hunger strike until tomorrow morning.

Also, my decision to abandon Daggerfall backfired as I started playing that damn game earlier this week. I kinda learned to use its useless automap feature a bit better so that I find my way around in those damn dungeons. I still think it is a deeply flawed game, but there are some things I like in it.

But I have to admit Morrowind seems a much better game, I kinda want to jump ahead to it already. Technically and otherwise Daggerfall seems to be much closer to TES: Arena than Morrowind. It is like Arena and Daggerfall are both Generation 1 games, while Morrowind is several generations ahead. It seems that much more advanced.

Already did! After tweaking a bit, plays more than acceptable on my aging Win 7 computer.

I like it - it's pretty, it's got neat characters I actually like - and while every problem can be solved with a gun I'm having fun trying hacking sneaking and fistfighting my way through - seriously having you level skills by use and attaching perks to that is a great way to get me to try different stuff! I'm usually more of a "skill points" sort of person, but playing a game in this style every now and then reminds me what I enjoy in it.

I liked Witcher 3 more - but that's more a function of genre and world. But for jumping into a game, getting my RPG fix and blasting / collecting with a bunch of "Borderlands" like weapons I can't knock it.

Plus I'm guessing it'll only get better. Didn't play Witcher 3 at launch (wanted to wait for a GPU upgrade) but I understand it was a vastly different game from the GOTY version I played - so I stay optimistic here.

Good thing on CDPR and Microsoft that helped to make the game compatible on WIN 7 even though they didn't have to..

It took me a while before i found settings i could live with!

ended with DLSS : Balanced , only raytracing enabled ( shadows and reflections off ) textures and light accuracy high and the rest a mixture of low and medium, more low then medium though, especially all those shadow settings for a decent 2k 60 hz experience

edit: its 50 fps, not 60!

I'll buy as soon as my PC store send me my RTX 3080 so I have the hardware so I can actually play it. >_<'

CDPR should have just pushed the release into March of 2021 or something. They could have spent the time fixing bugs, and people would actually have their next gen consoles/graphics cards ready to actually play the darn thing, and scalpers would have had harder time making a profit.

I understand all the blowback, but I do not regret my purchase. CD Projekt Red will come out stronger after the criticism.
