Be a miner picking through crystallized bones of ancient star beasts, a trader hauling artifacts to far-flung outposts, a pirate robbing spacetrains, an explorer combing through lost stellar cities, or a hunter chasing down unknowable monstrosities that spew forth from the storms. leaguehq: So according to the notes on Steam, GOG is missing 1.35, 1.36, 1.37, and 1.38. 1.35 got posted Nov 16. So it looks like between April and Nov, the dev was trying to make good on what he said. Then he stopped parity. I don't use "the other platform" but if someone made a post asking why he stopped, he might explain. He seems to communicate pretty well.
Dev here.
The Steam uploads happen at my discretion because I'm the one who has direct access in being able to upload them and publish them. That's not the case with the GOG edition, updates here are pushed by the publisher and then approved by the team here. I don't have access to anything on the GOG side.

Different people have differing opinions concerning this.

Personally, I don't mind if gog doesn't have all the latest updates Steam has right away (I have enough games in my backlog to keep me entertained while I wait), especially when the game is under development and updates happen frequently, provided they eventually make their way into the gog version (and not years after the fact, months is already pushing it).

As long as that is the case here, for me at least, it is fine.

Maybe it would be nice to synchronize the process ? Unless steam also counts as 'beta' ofc

You did not want to submit the game yourself? Developers often submit their own games here. No need for a publisher.

Middle people tend to make things slow down.
Looks very good and as soon as it is released I will buy it here. I am still waiting for the Early Access, though, as I have been disappointed several times by E.A. game titles and generally no longer support them.

I am already looking forward to the release. :-D
