"...the preorder numbers were split between PCs and consoles with PC accounting
for 59% of sales and consoles – 41%. Unfortunately we do not have the exact split between old and
new console versions since we have just one console SKU for PlayStation and one for Xbox and we do
not have direct visibility of how this CD or digital download is being used by gamers and which
machines they’re using – the newest consoles or older ones"
It's understandable that you "don't have the slightest fucking clue where *I* take that number from", but you should ask for a source, before going on with your rant.
This has been refuted multiple times, including by GOG themselves. CDP.pl had nothing to do with GOG, CDPR, or CDProjekt Group. They were a company, that handled game distribution for Poland only. They were only meant to distribute Cyberpunk in Poland, and they filled for bankruptcy. So Cyberpunk ended up being distributed by another company. Every so often, trolls bring this up, so they can use it as ammo for their current outrage tantrum. Please stop repeating this.

Now if the store tanks for ball washing the chinese, that's another matter entirely. Until you have official numbers on the amount of refunds people actually get, you might want to stfu. Everyone complaining, like you for instance, has somehow miraculously played the game for over 20 hours. Probably indictive that the under lying quality of the game is good enough that people who can form their own opinions, unlike you, are satisfied.
There is no evidence to support that. Just scrolling through playstation forums though, you can see people conflicted as they are enjoying the game even in spite of it's performance. In all this controversy it's easy to forget the large amount of hate this game has before it had even released from SJW's thinking it was transphobic. Those barking dogs have ridden on the wave of negativity from it being a buggy technical mess.

I can't be bothered to comment on what the latest "flavor of the day" outrage from echo chambered social media might be.

Let's take it into £. each copy of CP sold on steam costs £49.99, lest assume the low number of 830k units sold = £41.491.700. Valve takes 30% (depends on contract with CDPR), which leaves £29.044.190. And this is from steam only. No, I do not think CDPR is going bankrupt just yet.
(yes I know it is a quick and dirty calculation, yes I know people can buy steam keys outside of steam for different values, yes i know regional pricing makes it difficult)

Doubtful. According to Wikipedia CDP has about $130M annual revenue and a market cap of several billion USD. While certainly far from blue-chip status, that's enough bucks floating around that they'd have to be the most monumentally mismanaged company in history to hit bankruptcy days or even weeks after a crappy launch day. Like, the banks would have to show up to the line-of-credit meeting to find Marcin and co. drunk and smelling like a public toilet to even have minor doubts.
And they'd still go for it based on the fundamentals, they just might offer the $800M company deal rather than the $8B company deal.

Will they go bankrupt? Unlikely. They might change ownership though. So far the biggest loss is in terms of goodwill.
The damage from the censorship controversy is mostly going to be reputational too.
In the US you could expect some shareholders to try suing the board but where they're I think that's also unlikely.
