Is the reason Don't Starve Together not being sold on gog.com because it's multiplayer has microtransactions?

The Steam version of Don't Starve Together has a marketplace on Steam's Workshop community marketplace.

Which is a shame.

Probably because DST requires the integration of networking features which either the dev wasn't willing to figure out or were too ingrained into Steam.

It's likely because of Workshop dependence. Paid mods will ruin gaming some day.
