The problem with the soundtrack has not been fixed yet. Game breaker it isn't, however it is bloody annoying. Any chance of it getting fixed?
I think it was always like that. It would be nice if it was fixed though. I don't see how things like that would interfere in GOG's plan of releasing games that play as they used to. I'm pretty sure the music cutting out isn't an intended feature.

I think that was introduced by changing from CD audio to whatever you want to call it audio.
Outlaws isn't the only game on GOG with a broken soundtrack, add Total Annihilation and The Settlers III to the list.
It's in beta, like much of gog.
Is this about the bug where the music stops after pressing Escape? Yeah, I really wish GOG could fix that bug since music is a big part of the game.
outlaws is just temporarily unfixed :)

Yes that. It bugs the crap out of me. Such great music.

Ah, yes, that makes sense.

I only ever played a demo of the game until the GOG release. Naturally that didn't have CD audio on it either. I'm fairly sure it had the same problem. Which is understandable as LA aren't going to be too fussed about a problem that doesn't affect the game proper.

So it seems like GOG used the demo way of doing things hoping that would be good enough. It wasn't.
GOG is perfect and you shut your mouth.

darthspudius: Game breaker it isn't,
It's the reason I moved onto other games I had purchased at the same time. I have yet to go back. So yeah, actually in a way it is game breaking if it damages your enjoyment to a point where completing the game becomes unlikely.
