TL;DR I recieved a GOG titled Email that's different from the stuff that normally lands in my inbox and I'd like to be able to check it's authentic and I'm not recieving scam mails disguised as GOG emails (without waiting a week for support to get back to me lol).

you could tell us all what it is - not staff but plenty of long term regulars on the forum will know things.
You could also tell us the header details of the email without telling us your email.

You should be able to hover their email address and see if it's one of the @gog.com mailing addresses; or toggle the showing of the original email and grok it that way.

Would have been easier, if you'd given us the address in question.

However: here's a selection of the addresses, I receive(d) emails from:

"GOG.com Team" <do-not-reply(at)email.gog.com>
"GOG.com Team" <do_not_reply(at)email.gog.com>
"GOG.com Team" <newsletter(at)email2.gog.com>
"GOG.COM" <newsletter(at)email3.gog.com>
"help(at)gog.com" <help(at)gog.com>

Maybe yours is among them? I can confirm, that all these are real GOG addresses.
